Maharashtra's Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) have announced the exam date for the Post Graduate Medical/Dental Common Entrance Test.
PGMDCET scores are used for admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental courses such as MD and MS under the 50% Maharashtra State quota seats. A total of 38 courses are available at 26 Medical Institutes in Maharashtra for admission using PGMDCET scores. Also 8 specializations for MDS are available at 39 Dental Colleges in Maharashtra. Aspirants undergo a Preference Form filling process where they specify their preferred subjects and colleges although final admission is based on ranks in the State Merit List.
